Local non-profit organizations Blue Jacket and The Lighthouse are excited to announce a working partnership. Blue Jacket will serve underemployed and unemployed residents of The Lighthouse.

Fort Wayne non-profit Blue Jacket Inc. is expanding its operations with a second Thrift-style clothing store specializing in business professional clothing in the Coldwater Crossing Shopping Center at 5511B Coldwater Road, on the same side of the plaza as Hobby Lobby.
BLUE JACKET’S FANTASY OF LIGHTS BREAKS RECORDS SET PREVIOUS YEAR
Blue Jacket's Fantasy of Lights event, in its 24th year, broke its previous record of 20,680 cars enjoying the display in 2017, to topping out this year at 21,777 cars, with an estimated 109,000 people participating in the event over the last month and a half.

Adding to the total number of displays and the length of the route were just a few additions that engaged a record 20,680 vehicles, an estimated equivalence of 103,400 people. Attendance was 3% greater than the previous record in 2015 and 10% higher than 2016, even with frigid temperatures.

Fantasy of Lights, Tuesday-Dec. 31, has extended its driving route by a half-mile to 2 miles and added 10 displays, including those from Dana, Embassy Theatre and General Motors, said Tony Hudson, Blue Jacket executive director.

The Embassy Theatre announced today a new partnership with Blue Jacket. The Embassy Theatre partnership is the first designed to provide both training and jobs, creating two full-time and at least 12 transitional 60-day jobs with permanent job placement in the community upon completion.
