Disability Services

My son . . . went through your academy program in June this year. After graduation and receiving his Job Readiness certificate, he interviewed & got a job with the Grand Wayne Center. On Wednesday of last week, he fulfilled his 90-days probation period and he's now an employee of the Grand Wayne Center. I just want to say, Blue Jacket is an amazing organization, I've not seen such progress made with my son. He was with Voc Rehab for 11 years and didn't get sufficient support with helping him get a job. But from the time he went through the 2-week academy program with Blue Jacket, it changed how he thought about himself. Even with his mild disability, he felt more confident, got the help & support needed, and mainly dressed with confidence. It made a difference in the way he saw himself. Now he still walks in this same attitude; thinking of himself as successful. As his mother, I would like to say 'Blue Jacket, my hat is off to you!' An amazing organization; I pray you continue to help individuals near and far! Thank you!
